About Rogers Art Loft
The Rogers Art Loft is a multi-disciplinary artist residency dedicated to inclusivity, originality, and empowerment of artists. The residency offers artists, both national and international, the opportunity to live and work in Las Vegas for 4 to 8 weeks, depending on their needs and art practices. Our key goals in our support of artists is the opportunity for dialogue, community engagement, and new collaborations.
The application process for the Rogers Art Loft occurs annually and is reviewed by an interdisciplinary panel. Applicants can submit their portfolio, written statements and biographical information online at Submittable here.
The Rogers Art Loft is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Situated in a valley, Las Vegas is surrounded by mountains on all sides and located on the basin floor of the Mojave Desert. The residency itself is in downtown Las Vegas on Bonneville Avenue near the Arts District, Fremont Experience, Neon Museum, and the Smith Center for Performing Arts. The living space, is uniquely situated in The Lucy complex; home to writers-in-residence from Black Mountain Institute, an independent bookstore: Writer’s Block, and other local Las Vegas writers, artists, and entrepreneurs.
The Rogers Art Loft is made possible by Rogers Foundation, dedicated to transforming lives through art and education in Southern Nevada.
